Course Info:

• These are the three necessary courses to renew the State of Virginia Unarmed License and obtain Armed Security Officer License.
• Unarmed security guards in the state of Virginia must complete the O1I renewal course every two (2) years.
• Armed security guards in the state of Virginia must complete the O7R renewal course every twelve (12) months.
• Students are responsible for a $35.00 gun range fee that includes the range access, training weapon, ammunition & targets.

State Requirements:

• The State of Florida mandates that applicants for security licenses must be at least 18 years of age, have no disqualifying criminal history, and be legally allowed to work in the United States.
• The 01E unarmed security officer license course training must be completed prior to the state of Virginia issuing a 05E and 07E armed security guard license.
• A Licensing Fee must be paid directly to the State of Virginia. This fee is not included in the course price.
